Booking Rates:
Solomon Keal specializes in providing peaceful solo piano background music for your event. Solomon Keal has performed his music for weddings, dinners, receptions, conferences, charity events, open mic nights, coffeeshops, private parties, and concerts. Solomon performs only his own solo piano compositions and arrangements.
You can book Solomon Keal to perform his solo piano music starting at $100.00 an hour (for a background music event, for example). Plus travel expenses. If you are located within 100 miles of Lenhartsville PA (19534), then the travel expenses will only need to cover the cost of gas.
Rates are always negotiable.

To get a general sense, you should be able to license music directly from Solomon Keal using the following guide-lines:
- For $10.00 per song you can get unlimited use of Solomon’s music as background music for your personal websites.
- For a rate of $100.00 per year, you can have on-going use of Solomon’s music in your media projects, such as church sermon recordings or video tributes.
- For projects such as a CD or DVD project, Solomon charges 3 cents per minute per disc for usage of his music in the project. So, for example, if you would like to use 10 minutes worth of Solomon’s music on a DVD, and you are making 1000 DVDs, it would cost you $300.00.

Recording Studio Rates:
Solomon Keal has a diploma in Recording Engineering from the Audio Institute of America.
Solomon can help you with a number of small studio projects; anything from transferring an old record to a CD, or putting together a soundtrack from an old movie, to recording your new album.
He has a recording studio located in Lenhartsville PA. The studio is a 17 foot by 12 foot room in his house, so he can’t record entire bands, but he can easily record solo artists, and small groups. Solomon’s studio includes: Digital Performer 5 running on a G5 iMac, a Tascam FW-1082 interface, a Rode NT2-A studio microphone, Event TR8 Studio Monitors, and a Yamaha P-60 Digital Piano. Solomon’s studio hires out at $20.00 an hour.
This includes recording time, audio engineering and sweetening, digital editing, mixing, mastering, CD burning and printing.
All times are rounded up to the nearest 1/2 hour.
Solomon can also manage the replication of your CD project by working with a well known company such as Oasis or DiscMakers. But the actual cost of replication will have to be covered by you.
For transfer from vinyl or tape to CD:
For an hour long tape or record, this will probably cost you about $50.00.
For recording projects and album production:
You’re probably looking at an average cost of somewhere between $500.00 and $1000.00.

Piano Lesson Rates:
Solomon Keal is currently not taking any new students.
Solomon Keal teaches non-traditional piano lessons out of his home in Lenhartsville PA. In his lessons Solomon covers Piano Basics, Music Theory, Composition, Improvisation, and Ear Training, with a focus on popular music including new age, blues and jazz. Solomon will structure his lessons around what YOU want to learn.
There are no age restrictions. Start as a child or an adult.
Lessons are weekly, and are $12.50 for a half an hour.

Musician-for-Hire Rates:
You can hire Solomon Keal to do a number of music projects for you, for $20.00 an hour. You can hire Solomon to:
- Write (compose) a song. (For a wedding or anniversary, for example) (Listen to examples)
- Transcribe a song to sheet music. (Using Sibelius Notation Software)
- Work on an album concept. (Solomon could record back-up music for your vocals)
- Score a film project, or documentary. (Listen to examples)

Consulting Rates:
Solomon Keal has a diploma in Audio Engineering from the Audio Institute of America
He has set up his own recording studio, and has recorded and mastered four albums.
Solomon is a composer and songwriter, having composed over 50 piano pieces, and written over a dozen songs.
He also has experience in marketing music online.
For consulting work Solomon hires himself out at $15/hour.
